Injection Molding Parameters

Processing Item Recommended Range / Condition Notes & Explanations
Drying Treatment Hot‑air drying at 80 ℃ for 4 h; extend drying time or adopt vacuum drying under high‑humidity conditions; target moisture content<0.2% Critical operation. PA66 is prone to moisture‑induced hydrolysis. Excess moisture causes bubbles, silver streaks and severe mechanical‑property loss. Use immediately after drying or seal and keep warm properly.
Melt Temperature 285‑305 ℃; barrel rear/middle/front/nozzle:280‑310 ℃ Fine‑tune per equipment and part geometry. Avoid temperature>310 ℃ or long‑residence‑time to prevent material degradation.
Mold Temperature 65‑95 ℃ (149‑203℉) Proper mold temperature delivers good crystallinity, surface gloss and mechanical performance.
Injection Pressure Adjust per product and mold design Higher injection pressure may be required for glass‑fiber‑reinforced grade.
Injection Speed Medium‑high speed Relatively fast speed benefits filling; good mold venting is required.
Back Pressure
Screw Speed
Runner & Gate
Maximum Recycled Material Ratio Suggested 25% Excessive regrind addition will degrade material performance.
